Mark Childers - Writer / Director / Producer

After many years on stage, Mark left to pursue a career as a writer and film director. In partnership with Kandace C. Cummings, he created Pburnt Productions. Together, they have produced severalmultimedia corporate projects and short films. In addition to directing and co-writing Karma’s Choice, he also co-wrote and directed Damage Control with Ken Willinger productions and Obscure Knowledge Productions, which placed 5th in the International 4K red Camera competition and
screened in LA, this past January.

As a writer, he wrote the book of the musical The Kid from Brooklyn,
The Danny Kaye Story which toured professionally for two years in major cities, NY, Chicago, NJ, FL and a long run at the El Portel theater in North Hollywood, CA. In film, he has worked on many projects in numerous capacities, as well as script supervisor on features; A House Divided with Jodum Pictures, Rage/ Beautiful with Lono Productions and Soul Sisters. He also serves as Communications Project Manger for Legal Sea Foods, inc. and produces industrial fims and web casts for LSF. Inc.
